Oskar Brodén

Having tucked our tails between our legs, I phoned Oskar of Toppäventyr, who just happened to be sitting at the top of the Tegelfjäll run, kindly pointed us in the right direction and waited around until we got there. Thanks for the guiding! Oskar Brodén jumping pillows in the forest below the face of Tegelfjäll.

Tegefjäll

Knee deep snow, no visibility and uncertain of our position relative to the cornices above Alex was struggling with his short skis. For a moment, it appeared that the ridge and entrance to the gully beyond was barely 50 meters off, but uncertain, we retreated. Alex Eiler preparing to descend in a blizzard on Tegelfjäll.

Kittelfjäll

Kittelfjäll offers some great lines and we were lucky enough to have excellent conditions even if it was late in the afternoon. Gustav Fredholm grabbing change on the north face of Kittelfjäll.

One Plankers

A few years back I switched to skis because of the ease of touring. Now I have the luxury of taking photos while I wait for the snowboarders to tramp their way up. On the other hand, I skied the bowl while Gustav rode the shadow line on the face in the background, respect! I'll get there, I'm a lot closer now than at the beginning of the season.

Backlog

It's been a while... I've been too busy doing things to bother dealing with all the photos. Way back in February the ski season started in Kittelfjäll, now I'm trying to get one last weekend in... wanna go? Gustav Fredholm chewing it up in one of the many fantastic ravines Kitteljäll has to offer.
